Making Databases GDPR Compliant

GDPR is an onerous piece of legislation which could mean large fines for companies who flout the new rules – even if they do so inadvertently.

How We Can Help

Some of the largest PLCs are so concerned about GDPR, that they are destroying databases that don’t offer date and time stamped ‘opt ins’ from the individuals whose records it contains. Although this provides them with protection from the regulation’s fines, it may not be entirely necessary do so before 25 May 2018. There is still time to retain much of a database simply by asking the individual if he/she would like to remain on it and then keeping a record in the correct fashion of their agreement to do so.

Our marketing machine retains a record of individuals ‘opting in’, with appropriate date and time stamped logs retained for future proof of GDPR compliance. We can design a campaign showing your potential customers the benefits of continuing to receive communications from you. This will include links back to our software enabling them to register, providing provenance of their ‘opting in’ and giving you peace of mind for future marketing campaigns.

Lead Intuition are able to provide advice and guidance on this area. Call us today, the clock is ticking and after 25 May 2018 it may no longer be possible to qualify your data without significant risk!

We welcome the opportunity to discuss your ideas and to share ours with you. For a confidential conversation about our services then please contact us today
